Cruising part 1

We've been cruising. We departed Galveston Texas on the Carnival Magic.

After a couple days at at sea we have awaken to see Montego Bay, Jamaica off our starbuer side.

Time for Kathy and I to set out on this Jamaican adventure...

Our Jamaican excursion was called, You didn't book an excursion so, get an all day bus pass. The bus went along the coast up to half moon bay, where we had hey Red Stripe Mon, no problem

We also went to Doctors Cave Beach and Margaritaville @ The Hip Strip.
We did stop my Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville and had this massive nachos and a couple a Red Stripes.

Later we stop by Bigg's BBQ Restaurant and Bar for some jerk chicken. Had try it before we left

Next Kat got her toes wet looking for shells

Jamaica sure makes you appreciate what you have at home.

The people are very very nice and accommodating. They are making it the best way they can, we're very glad to have experienced it.

The Cayman Islands were a pleasure to visit

We chose a local excursion that showed us Georgetown, Tortuga, 7 mile beach, the town of Hell, turtles and the Governors Mansion. The Caynams shirley have it together. Here's a shot of Kathy, not afraid to shop

Here we are the Tortuga Rum Factory. Had to get some of this rum, it's so piratee

Welcome to the City of Hell.

Its named there for these volcanic formations. Who's the little guy in the center of the picture

OMG - The Cayman Turtle Farm. So many turtles

and 1 lonely crocodile

Cozumel Mexico

Kathy was very excited to see what the crew have been working on all night. Towel animals. They covered the Lido deck. They could be found on every chair lounge and chair. It was cool.

Our sightseeing trip for today was to see the Mayan ruins called Inah or Zona

Arqueologica San Gervasio

We had a hike back to this pyramid

Before returning to the ship we stopped at beach club and had lunch.

It was a pretty fun trip.

Now we're heading back to Galveston Texas.

That concludes this Western Caribbean Cruise.
